Please pray for the following needs...

Pray for our sister churches in
Africa - Buturo Friends Church in Rwanda and Rukamba, Musagara and
Nyarunazi Friends churches in Burundi.

Junior Fitts has completed his
radiation treatments for throat cancer. He will see a doctor soon to
see the results.

Galen Greene's dad fell recently
and is having trouble walking now. They are not certain what his
trouble is.
-
Scott Harrill will undergo surgery
soon to deal with excess fluid around his spine. Tests revealed that
the cells were cancerous.

Marjorie Johnson has been at
Sumner
Regional
Medical
Center
in Wellington
recovering from abnormal sodium and potassium levels. The doctors are
optimistic that they can work things out so she can go back to
Sterling House soon.

Scott and Andrea Sward, a young
couple preparing to go to
Cambodia
as Friends missionaries, were in an accident in Denver
in February. Their one-year-old son, Isaac, died from his
injuries. This couple needs prayer for their physical recovery - they
both suffered serious injuries - and for their spiritual strength as
they grieve their little boy's death. You can read the latest on them

  Every
child at Argonia Friends Church is prayed for regularly through our
P.R.A.Y. (Prayer Reaching All Youth) program.
Each month, a prayer calendar is given to participants. On each day of
the calendar are the names of all of our children and their Sunday School
teachers.
In October 1998, Pastor Mike formed a team of prayer
partners whose job it is to pray for his ministry and for the church. The
team started out with eight volunteers and has grown to twenty plus.
Current members of the team are Renee Adams, Marjorie Johnson, Melva Joy
Pearce, Bob & Sue Randall, Mary Lou Voge, Mary & Larry Paxson, Linda
Allender, Neil Coffman, Lu Ann McCurley, Clarence & Frances Lanier, Linda
McIntire, Rose Kunselman, Lora Topinka, Norma Coffman, Betty
Taton, Barb Kolp, Judy DeLozier, Tammy
Pontious and Florence Walter.

PrayArgonia is open to all residents of Argonia,
Kansas, and the surrounding area seeking prayer. It is also open to those
who are related to residents, former residents, etc. Here are the rules:
(1) Requests should be personal and not forwards from other sources. (2)
When asking for prayer for individuals outside your immediate family,
every effort should be made to ask permission to post. (3) Every request
will be taken seriously by all members. (4) Immediately upon receipt, each
member will pause for prayer and continue praying as God prompts. (5)
Prayer requests are all that should be sent to this group. No community
announcements. No stories (other than reports of progress). No political
stumping. No forwards or cute poems. You get the idea.
