What
On Sundays at 6:30 PM a small group meets to answer discussion questions based on that mornings sermon. This is a time to dialogue about and internalize the morning message. We wrestle with the scripture, spend time with one another, and attempt to encourage each other to live out the challenges presented to us in the morning sermon.
Why
Sermons are often viewed as just entertainment or education. The congregation takes a passive role while the preacher is given all of the responsibility. We hope that through discussion groups the meeting becomes engaged in the scriptures and the message moves from entertaining to edifying.
